Measurement Programs

Get Exactly What You Need!

The key to precision alignment is your ability to apply a practical approach to your measurement application. All measurement programs in the Easy-Laser® systems guide the user through the process with graphics, text and a easy to follow procedure.


There are four program configurations for the Easy-Laser® systems:

D450 includes 5 programs (Column A)

D550 includes 13 programs (Column B)

D480 & D505 includes 14 programs (Column C)

D525, D600, D630, D640, D650, D660, D670 & D800 include 27 programs (Column D)

Offset and Angle Shows the offset and angular error between two shafts by taking only (1) tape rule measurement. Can be useful for dynamic measurement.    √  √  √
Values Shows live readings from the TDS and TDM units. Can be used for shaft alignment, straightness and dynamic measurement. Up to four detectors can be connected in series and zeroed individually.     √  √  √
Vibrometer Shows the vibration level in "inch/sec" or "mm/s" and bearing condition value in "g". Complies with vibration standard ISO10816-3. (Requires optional Vibrometer probe)      √  √

Parallelism For measurement of parallelism between rolls, machine ends, etc. Can handle up to 150 rolls/measurement objects. The base line or any roll may be used as a reference. Every object can be individually named.        √
Parallelism Plus Versatile program with advanced functions. Measurement objects can be added, removed or re-measured at any point during the measurement process. Includes base line measurement function.        √
Spindle Direction For measurement of the pointing direction of machine spindles in machine tools, drilling machines, etc.        √
Centre of Circle Used for straightness measurement of bearing journals when the bore diameter varies. For diesel engines, propeller shaft installations, etc.        √
Centre of Circle Plus Versatile program with advanced functions. Measurement points can be added, removed or re-measured at any point during the measurement process. The reference line can be offset as required.        √
Half-Circle Readings taken in three positions: 9, 6 and 3 o'clock. Allows varying diameters as in turbine diaphgram measurement.        √

Plumb Line
With this program you can measure plumb (vertical) and straightness of turbine and generator shafts, for example.        √

Flange
For flatness measurement of tower flanges and circular planes:  Can handle up to 300 measurement points and multiple circles on a flange for "lay-back". Three zero points at 120° apart are computed by the system.        √
